“Good, you?” NO, don’t tell me that. I don’t want to hear that. I want to hear so. much. more beyond that. No, not out of curiosity so that I may gossip about it later nor am I trying to talk just to talk and use up time. I ask because I want to know how you’re feeling, how your day was. I want to celebrate your joys with you, laugh about the funny situations you might have encountered, comfort you for any of the pain that you’ve felt. Was there a boy you thought was cute today? Did you argue with your parents? Did you eat string cheese last night?

You don’t have to hold it in. And it doesn’t have to be me, it can be anyone else you might feel you can trust. Some people really do want to know and care for what’s happened. I can’t promise all people have genuine intention, but find that someone who does that doesn’t want to just hear “I’m good, you?”

^THIS.

Probably the worse thing is seeing a girl cry. You just see the pain in her eyes. It makes you wanna cry too. You feel the pain she’s going through. But crying doesn’t mean weakness. She’s probably been strong for too long, or maybe personal problems. Girls are pretty fragile, All you can do is maybe just comfort them, and let her know that you’re there for her. Just do the little things.
